Who We Are

Glowpower is an exciting new Energy supplier in the Irish market. 

Our aim is to provide customers with a new and exciting way of approaching the sale of electricity in Ireland. 

Why do we collect data?

We collect your data to allow us to facilitate the provision of our services (electricity) to you.
We have listed below the main reasons why we collect data about you.

  • delivering marketing communication and other forms of correspondence (including billing)

How do we collect your data

in order to receive or use services on our website or to volunteer information for possible inclusion on the site, we may require you to submit personal information (also known as Personal Data) about yourself via our website, that of our third parties, or over the phone and via email.   This information enables us to provide you with the services that you select and that best fit your circumstances.   This data may include your full name, your supply address, your date of birth, and other data that helps us identify you and to tailer solutions suited to you.

Visiting our website.  An explanation about ‘cookies’.

During any visit to our website, the pages you see, along with something called a cookie, are downloaded to your computer. Cookies are text files that identify your computer to our server. As our services expand, there will be more opportunities to enhance the services provided to you. From time to time we may send you details of new content that may be of interest to you. We may also offer you the opportunity to participate in surveys, carried out by us or our agents, that help our research into the website and its value to you. We will keep a record of information provided by you. Please note that any information you provide will only be used within our organisation. It will never be supplied to third parties without first obtaining your consent unless we are obliged by law to disclose information.

Where do we access and store your personal data

Our information systems are cloud based and we work with our security team to ensure that your information is stored and protected with up to date security. 

Who can access your data?

Only Glowpower staff and our Customer Management Software Support staff can access your data.

 Our team are required to undergo Privacy Policy training as part of their employment.  We are required to be able to access your data to perform all of our services to you as stipulated in our contract of service.
