A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also worn them enough now that I feel like I have a good grip on their quality, and a bunch of related details about them, which you’ll see broken down further.

Where can I find a pair like yours?

Placed my order on April 28th and they were shipped to me by April 30th, so the shipping was super fast .
How expensive are they?
When I grabbed my pair in spring, I paid just under $390, but their standard price is around $514.
Golden Goose sneakers typically range from $400 to nearly $1,700, depending on how decked out they are.
How is the fit?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36.
Since they keep their shape and half sizes aren’t available, I’d choose the larger option.
How comfy are they?
They felt good almost immediately. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since my feet get sweaty. They’re made with real Italian leather, so it’s much more easy than breaking in synthetic materials. Bonus, they’re already softened so your feet just get comfortable fast.
How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong. Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is one of a kind. And the glitter on mine? Stunning.
Are they worth it?
Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re not cheap, so getting them discounted is worth it. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I went bold with sparkle, but a neutral version would also look great.
